Graf Fortepiano

Our newest addition! Graf Fortepianos by the Viennese builder Conrad Graf (1782–1851) were prominent at the highest level of early 19th-century musical life.  Schubert knew them; Beethoven was given one in 1825; Chopin and Liszt played them; one was presented to Clara Wieck and Robert Schumann when they were married in 1840; the Schumann instrument was later owned by Brahms. Graf received the imperial court appointment “k.k. hof Fortepianomacher” in 1824 and a gold medal in 1835 at the Vienna trade exhibition.  Extant Graf fortepianos in good condition are remarkable instruments having the same immediate touch and musical clarity of their predecessors, but capable, too, of dynamic power inconceivable at an earlier time.

Book this instrument and give yourself the unique experience of playing your music on the same historical instrument played by the composers!

Concert Hall

Rehearsals: Yes! Our Concert Hall can be booked for your regular rehearsal. Although, these bookings must be made by email as we work around our regular schedule to accommodate your rehearsal.

Concerts & Recitals: Looking for a place to host your own concert or recital? Our Concert Hall can seat up to 60 guests with only piano (seating reduces with each instrument added). We also have a drum kit in house available for use. When booking the Concert Hall for your concert/recital, you also gain access to our Chamber Music Studio as your green room. This booking includes 3 hours of time for your concert, plus 1 hour of load in/rehearsal time prior to your booking.
