Cynthia (Szabo) Tormann is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and Indiana University where she received both her Masters and Doctorate degrees in piano performance. Having performed in England, Portugal, Germany, Canada, and the United States in recital and as soloist with orchestra, she continues an active concert career. From 1992 – 1994 she was Professor of Piano at the National Academy for Orchestral Education in Lisbon Portugal, McMaster University (1994 – 1996). Cynthia Tormann is currently on teaching staff at DAN School of Drama and Music.
