Master Class Registration

Ottawa East Junior Music Club welcomes music students from all over Ottawa, however the focus is on teachers and students who live in the East End of Ottawa (east of downtown).

Concerts take place monthly on Sunday afternoons starting at 2 PM and 3:15 PM with fellowship and refreshments from 3:15 pm.

There will be an additional Concerto concert in March, date & time TBD.

This year there will be two levels of membership:

Regular Membership:

  • Monthly performance opportunities

  • Discount on Master Classes (times and dates to be announced) *subject to availability

Artist Membership:

  • Monthly performance opportunities

  • 3 guaranteed master classes with renowned pedagogues (12 classes available; opportunity to add extra classes at a discounted rate) 

  • Free warm-up/rehearsal time on a grand piano at 10,000 Hours for 30 minutes prior to each concert

  • Priority registration for concerto concert in March with extended time limit

Things to note:

  • There are 7 concerts in the season

  • You may repeat a selection once at a future concert

  • Music must be memorized (sheet music is not permitted)

  • Students must display proper stage etiquette: bow before a performance, announce name and piece, bow after performance

  • Maximum performance time limits are as follows:

    Beginner: 2 minutes

    Intermediate: 5 minutes

    Advanced: 8 minutes
