A native of the Bahamas, Elijah Stevens is an artist Diploma student at the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Music, Glenn Gould School. He is the first Bahamian pianist to graduate from the Glenn Gould School of music. He is also a graduate of Bethune-Cookman University and former student of Olga Kern at Manhattan School of Music. He has been titled as a White House All-Star, one of the “Best and Brightest of students in the USA.” Stevens won the National first place prize for piano in the Bahamas’ E. Clement Bethel National Arts Festival and first place in the James A. Hefner piano competition. His story of overcoming homelessness in pursuit of his musical dreams went viral and received international acclaim. He has over 16 years of musical and performance experience. His life’s motto is “Never Take No For An Answer.”
